Finding an Alexander Teacher:

Teachers in other countries (not the United Kingdom)

There are 15 national Alexander Technique societies:–

The Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT) in the UK and its 14 affiliates.

The affiliates are in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Israel, The Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland and the USA.

To find a teacher in one of these countries look here

Teachers in other countries are often hard to locate: they may belong to any of these 15 societies (or the ATI). That's a lot of places to look. This page tries to make finding them easier.

Project Struck Gold
In 2005, my project helping pupils find a teacher struck gold, in India. Many thanks to Dr Deepak Sharan.
  • Do you live in a country with no Alexander teacher? Do you want one?
  • Are you an Alexander teacher who would like to start a practice in such a country?
Either way, I can help: just e-mail me.
